What a beautiful day for the SAND DUNES!
We climbed and climbed!
Once at the top, we threw rocks...
enjoyed some breathtaking views...
and climbed some more (this time trees)!
Then it was time to RUN down!
We enjoyed playing in the sand at the bottom!
After the sand dunes we went over to Empire Beach Park where Matthew loved playing with this digger...
and both boys enjoyed throwing rocks!
Tonight after dinner Aunt Mimi, Matthew and Mommy went to Riverside for some ICE CREAM!
Alex loved that Mimi shared her cone with him!
After the ice cream was gone we headed to the Platte River to throw some more rocks...
and enjoy a magnificent sunset!
(Of course the boys found the digger again)
Simply amazing...
Before we headed home we sat on the bench dedicated to Great Grandpa Paul and Great Grandma Ester Lahti!
