This is the view that we awoke to on our 1st day of vacation...HEAVEN!
We decided to get straight to work after breakfast and help Pop Ken collect acorns from the yard so that he could mow the grass...
Such hard workers!
What a beautiful day to be "Up North"!
After our work was done...it was time to PLAY!
Of course a golf cart ride was in order!
After awhile there was more work to be done for the big guys...Daddy, Pop Ken and Uncle Cody worked hard to take out the docks in preparation for winter!
This is what Mommy made to eat for everyone after the chores were done...

Before dinner, we headed to the mouth of the Platte to throw a few rocks...

we discovered this digger and the boys loved playing in the bucket!
