We did get some relief from the heat while we enjoyed a picnic lunch down by the Caloosahatchee river!
Dad and I tried to stay cool on the Ford home porch... 
and under a giant banyan tree!
It's really neat that I got to stand next to a Model A Ford...except it was so hot that I felt like I was inside one of Edison's light bulbs!
